SEC Watch

Terms of use

Last updated 13/10/2026

The short version: SEC Watch shows what's been officially disclosed, as quickly as it can. It isn't financial advice, and it's in beta.

The service

SEC Watch monitors official US disclosures and alerts you about the companies and people you choose. It's in an invite-only beta and free to use. Features may change, and the beta may end, with notice where possible.

Not financial advice

Everything on SEC Watch comes from public filings made by others. Filings can be late, amended or wrong, alerts can be delayed or missed, and estimates are estimates. Nothing on SEC Watch is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Check the original filing, and make your own decisions.

Your account

  • Keep your password and your alert topic to yourself. An account is for one person.
  • Give an email address you can receive mail at, and keep it up to date.
  • You can delete your account at any time under Account.

Fair use

Please don't:

  • collect data from SEC Watch automatically, or resell or republish its alerts or data as a service
  • try to get into other people's accounts or around SEC Watch's security
  • use SEC Watch for anything unlawful

Found a security problem? Please report it to support@secwatch.app rather than exploiting it.

Accounts that break these terms may be suspended or closed.

Availability

SEC Watch aims to run around the clock but can't promise to. It depends on government websites that sometimes change or go down, and on services that deliver email and phone alerts.

Liability

SEC Watch is provided free during the beta, and as far as the law allows, isn't responsible for losses from trading or investment decisions, or from alerts that are late, missed or inaccurate. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.

Changes and law

If these terms change in a way that matters, you'll be told by email before the change takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of Scotland; if you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also use the courts where you live.
